Hi. I have a 42'wide x 34'deep x 15' high airplane hangar with R18 in the walls and ceiling in Fresno, CA. I have a 3 year old Carrier 5 ton, 16 SEER AC and 110,000 BTU (2000 cfm) 80% AFUE furnace which will be a DIY. My question is regarding the best place to install the return register(s). Some articles I read say as far away from the supply registers as possible, which would mean supply and return in the ceiling on opposite ends of the 42' wall. Other articles I read suggest placing the return(s) in the center of the ceiling, with supplys placed along the perimeter. Thanks for your help.
